Staff and students are invited to an event titled “Diversity Discussion: Things to Do with Courting Blakness”, hosted by the Equity Office on Monday 26 May.

Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences Executive Dean Professor Tim Dunne will open the event, which will include the launch of video material, a panel discussion, updates from schools across UQ and a sample of materials and approaches related to the BlackCard Program.

Aboriginal philosopher, educator and community activist, Mary Graham will discuss how BlackCard can increase the knowledge and skills of staff in communicating and interacting with Aboriginal groups, staff and communities.

RSVP is optional but will help with seating. Email courtingblakness@gmail.com.
