UQ has been advised that water pressure at the St Lucia Campus will be decreased for about 20 minutes from midnight tonight (November 26).
The decreased pressure is due to Brisbane City Council testing as part of the South East Queensland Water Pressure and Leakage Management Program.
It is not anticipated that there will be problems with cooling towers or sprinkler systems, however staff or students conducting scientific experiments that depend on running water may wish to make alternative arrangements.
The fire fighting system will not be affected by these tests as the St Lucia Campus has two main water systems.
A second test is scheduled for midnight on December 10.
