Infant volunteers needed for University research

The Infant Research Laboratory in the University of Queensland's School of Psychology is seeking infants aged between eight and 14 months for research into the origins of social understanding.

The research is designed to evaluate when infants recognise thoughts, feelings and desires within other people. It is important in the assessment of social intelligence and could eventually serve as an early indication of autism.

Parents will take part in the study and will stay with their babies for the duration of the 30-minute session.
