Volunteers needed for multiple sclerosis workshops

27 June 1997

The University of Queensland's School of Psychology is planning a workshop for people with multiple sclerosis and their main support person.

The workshop is part of the school's Coping with Multiple Sclerosis study. Preliminary study results show that the way people with MS and their support persons appraise and cope with their problems influences the sense of well-being of both partners.

The five-week workshop will be held by trained psychologists and will start as soon as a sufficient number of participants are found.

People interested in the program should contact Sophie Morson on telephone 3365 6858.
