Course help and advice is at hand

7 January 1998

Prospective University of Queensland students have three main points of contact for course help and advice, according to Courses and Admissions manager Maureen Bowen.

She said Courses and Admissions staff could advise on areas such as QTAC preferences and how to re-order preferences for second-round offers while Student Support Services could assist with vocational assessment or provide careers advice. This was either free of charge to students made offers at the University of Queensland, or on a fee for service basis to prospective students.

Mrs Bowen said detailed information about specific courses and faculty advisory sessions would be included with QTAC offer materials posted on January 16.

Contact Courses and Admissions (telephone 07 3365 2203) or Student Support Services (telephone 07 3365 1704).
