Former Premier Wayne Goss to speak at research student workshop

Former Queensland Premier Wayne Goss and former MIM Holdings Ltd managing director Norm Fussell will address a student workshop in mid-September.

The University of Queensland's Graduate School of Management (GSM) will hold a Research Student Colloquium on Thursday and Friday, September 16 and 17 1999 at Emmanuel College.

The Colloquium showcases research being conducted by GSM students at honours, masters and PhD levels on contemporary issues in management, such as the relationship between research and industry.

The program includes student presentations, panel discussions and keynote addresses by speakers from business, government and other universities, as well as from the University of Queensland.

These speakers will include three GSM adjunct professors, Mr Goss, Mr Fussell and Stephen Lonie.
