New prizes up the ante for e-commerce students

Two new $1500 prizes are on offer to Bachelor of Electronic Commercestudents at UQ Ipswich, thanks to international management and technology consulting company Accenture.

One prize is for the student entering second year with the highest Grade Point Average (GPA). The other goes to the student entering the honours program with the highest GPA for the three-year degree.

The annual prizes will include opportunities for interaction with expert staff at Accenture, which has 137 offices in 43 countries and employs more than 2000 people in Australia and New Zealand.

The company is currently expanding its capabilities to include consulting, technology, outsourcing, alliances and venture capital.
