Mayne Centre prepares for new exhibition

After opening for nine weeks for the inaugural exhibition, To Look Within: Self Portraits in Australia, the Mayne Centre will close for three weeks on Tuesday, June 22 to enable remaining detail on the building to be completed.

The Centre reopens on July 10 with Seeing the Collection, a selection of work from The University of Queensland’s collection.

Seeing the Collection will comprise works from the 19th and early 20th centuries, as well as focused displays of contemporary artists Eugene Carchesio, Scott Redford, Madonna Staunton and Carl Warner.
