The University of Queensland Business School is hosting a postgraduate open day tomorrow to explain the content and options of its Masters programs.

Tours and information sessions will run from 8am to 8pm at the UQ Business School Downtown, Central Plaza One, Level 19, 345 Queen Street, Brisbane.

Academic staff will explain the Master of Technology and Innovation Management, Master of Commerce (majors in applied Finance or Professional Accounting), Master of Business Administration, Master of Business (majors in entrepreneurship, marketing and international business) and Master of Commerce (majors in e-Commerce or Information Systems).

Staff will also be available throughout the day to answer questions about any UQ Business course, help with personal tours of UQ’s state-of-the-art executive business base or arrange one-on-one meetings.

The open day will be the first held at the new UQ Business School Downtown, which caters for postgraduate students featuring lecture theatres, extensive data access, private workstations and board and conference rooms.

UQ Business School’s director of MBA and industrial relations Dr Stephen Kay said the open day would help tomorrow’s industry and business leaders, whether they were undergraduates looking to specialise or professionals trying to broaden their business and management careers.
