UQ Business School gears up for CEO Summit

23 March 2006

The University of Queensland Business School (UQBS) is preparing for its third annual CEO Summit on 25 August 2006.

To be held at UQBS Downtown, the Summit attracts an exclusively C-suite audience of CEOs and other senior executives for a day of briefings and networking.

Speakers already on board for 2006 include ‘super-chairman’ James Strong and CEO of the Australian Industry Group Heather Ridout.

Also presenting will be Bernadette Inglis, Suncorp’s new Wealth Management and Strategy Group Executive and winner of Queensland Business Review’s inaugural Business Woman of the Year award.

Head of School Professor Tim Brailsford said the CEO Summit was an important opportunity for C-suite executives to network and share experiences with their peers.

“Feedback tells us that the opportunity to interact with guest speakers and hear from their peers is highly valued by attendees," Professor Brailsford said.

“This year we’ve modified the format to make sure there is even more time for questions from the floor and discussion.”
