UQ experts ready for Queensland Budget analysis

Several University of Queensland academics are available to help analyse the impacts of tomorrow's Queensland Budget.

One of Australia's leading and most widely published economists, Professor John Quiggin, can be reached on 0400 485 202 or 07 3346 9646.

Professor Quiggin is an expert in many areas of Australian economic policy.

Other economics experts include Professor John Foster who is an expert in macroeconomic policy (inflation, employment, balance of payments), monetary policy (interest rates, exchange rates), competition policy and regulation and economic growth.

Professor John Mangan can comment on labour economics, industrial economics, taxation policy and state and regional economics.

Associate Professor Geoff Dow is a Reader in Political Economy and Political Science with UQ`s School of Political Science and International Studies.
