Seminar probes lawyers' popularity problem
The future of lawyers and law firms will be on the menu when author and former New Scotland Yard solicitor, Paul Brennan, speaks at The University of Queensland’s Law Graduates Association networking breakfast next week.
The event will address topics including the future of lawyers and law firms, what clients really want, and go some of the way to answering the question: “If lawyers are a little unpopular (which is not quite admitted), what can they do about it?”
Mr Brennan has worked for both small firms and government, was a general counsel in Europe, and a solicitor at New Scotland Yard.
He is also a columnist for the national My Business magazine and author of The Law is an ass … make sure it doesn’t bite yours!
The breakfast event will be held on Wednesday, March 5, at Customs House, 399 Queens Street, Brisbane. Please arrive by 7.15am for a 7.30am start.
