New knowledge shared at UQ Business School research event
UQ Business School will showcase research talent at the annual Research Students' Colloquium on Monday, July 20.
In addition to the student presentations, two plenary sessions, one by Professor Mat Hayward and the other by Mr Rob Douglas will kick start the event.
Professor Hayward will speak about his model for writing research papers based on his past successes.
Mr Douglas, Director of UQ Business School Commercial will discuss translating research into practice.
The UQBS Research Director, Professor Janet McColl-Kennedy, said the Annual Research Students' Colloquium continued to be a major event in the UQBS research calendar.
"The event provides students with an important forum for advancing new knowledge," she said.
“The Colloquium provides an opportunity for postgraduate students to develop their presentation skills and network with staff and students across disciplines in a supportive and collegiate environment.”
More than 100 staff and students representing all research disciplines have registered to attend the Colloquium.
