UQ professors named Australian Academy of Science Fellows

Four UQ scientists have been named among the nation’s best, receiving Australian Academy of Science Fellowships for remarkable research in their fields. 

Professors Gabrielle BelzTamara DavisTrevor Ireland and Jürgen Götz were elected Fellows for contributing a wealth of knowledge to their respective fields of immunology, astrophysics, geo-and cosmochemistry, and dementia research.  

The 2025 Fellowship selection process was highly competitive with 26 people selected from 190 nominations.
