University of Queensland's one-stop-shop for commerce, economics and business students

19 December 1997

For the 3000 students enrolled in the University of Queensland's commerce, economics and business courses, 1998 will mark a significant advance in service convenience.

Gone will be the days of trudging corridor after corridor to arrange appointments with lecturers from various departments, to lodge assignments on different levels of the same building to collect course information from three different administrative points within the same building.

A one-stop-shop, or Student Resource Centre, has been established in the Colin Clark Building, home of the University's management, economics and commerce departments to make life easier for students.

The Student Resource Centre will provide all students with any of the resources required for their undergraduate studies and co-ordinate student requests for assistance and appointments with teaching staff across the three departments.
