Dutton Park ferry terminal to re-open

4 May 2005

The University of Queensland has been advised that the Dutton Park ferry terminal near the corner of College Road and Sir William MacGregor Drive at St Lucia will re-open on Saturday, May 7.

Brisbane City Council has advised the University that piling work has been completed and that the terminal will feature improved lighting, a walkway, gates and paintwork.

The terminal has been out of action since a pontoon and walkway sunk into the Brisbane River on December 16.

Until the Dutton Park terminal re-opens on Saturday, both UQ/Dutton Park and CityCat services will operate from UQ’s CityCat ferry terminal near the corner of Blair Drive and Sir William MacGregor Drive.

Feedback and enquiries can be directed to Brisbane City Council’s contact centre at 3403 8888 or TransLink at http://www.transinfo.qld.gov.au or telephone 13 12 30.
