UQ researchers receive Highly Cited Researcher awards

Please note this article has been updated as Clarivate revised several researcher affiliations between December 2023 to January 2024.  

University of Queensland researchers received 36 awards in the 2023 Clarivate Highly Cited Researchers list, positioning the University as the equal 31st most awarded institution globally.

The awards recognise the exceptional performance of UQ researchers who have a significant number of papers in the top 1% most cited in their field and year of publication.

Seven UQ researchers made the list for the first time this year.
