Research scholarships to support sport innovation

The University of Queensland and the Queensland Academy of Sport (QAS) are awarding up to 8 research scholarships to fast-track sport innovation ahead of Brisbane 2032.

Students pursuing PhD projects addressing the current and future needs of sports and para-sports can apply via UQ Scholarships.

The UQ Graduate School Scholarships will be supported with industry placements and and a Top up Scholarship from the QAS.

Students must be domestic and meet the eligibility requirements of a UQ Graduate School Scholarship.

Three scholarships will be awarded before June 30 this year, 3 will be awarded in the 2024/25 financial year and the remaining 2 will be awarded in 2025/26.
