You CAN have a great day out at UQ Ipswich Open Day

6 August 2003

UQ Ipswich Open Day from 10am-2pm on Sunday, August 17 will give prospective students, their families and friends a chance to see, touch, smell and get a taste for the campus that is leading students towards new frontiers.

Attractions include entertainment, music, food and free rides and activities for children plus free public tutorials and lectures on topics ranging from crisis management to criminology.

University staff will explain programs and study opportunities on offer. Presentations and displays will showcase the University’s state-of-the-art facilities and services. And current students will provide insights into student life by leading personalised campus tours departing half-hourly throughout the day.

Free buses will run every 30 minutes between Ipswich railway station and the campus and free parking will be available on campus all day.
